Dr. Thaj · Clinic-Grade Skincare
Sunscreen your dermatologist actually meant.
PureShade is the broad-spectrum SPF 50+ gel our dermatologists prescribe alongside pigmentation and laser plans — oil-free, matte, and invisible on Indian skin.

The Story
Why PureShade exists
Every pigmentation plan at our clinics lives or dies on one thing: daily sunscreen the patient will actually wear. Heavy, white-cast creams get abandoned by week two — so our dermatologists specified the sunscreen they wished existed: a weightless gel, matte enough for oily skin in South Indian heat, broad-spectrum across UVA, UVB and IR, and invisible on Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin.
True broad spectrum
SPF 50+ PA+++ across UVA, UVB and IR — the full exposure of an Indian commute, not just the beach.
Matte, oil-free gel
Sits weightless under makeup and survives humid days without the grease film.
No white cast
Formulated to disappear on deeper skin tones — the reason most sunscreens get abandoned.
Clinic-protocol grade
The daily protection step in our pigmentation, melasma and post-laser care plans.
How to Use
Three steps, every day
Apply generously
Two finger-lengths for face and neck, 15–20 minutes before stepping out.
Reapply on exposure
Every 3–4 hours outdoors — after sweat or a wash, reapply sooner.
Pair with your plan
During pigmentation or laser treatment, it's non-negotiable — daily, indoors too.
FAQ
Questions, answered honestly
Will PureShade leave a white cast on my skin?
No — it's formulated specifically to be invisible on Indian (Fitzpatrick IV–VI) skin tones, with a matte, oil-free finish.
Is it suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?
Yes. The gel base is oil-free and matte, designed to be comfortable in humid South Indian weather without adding grease.
Do I need sunscreen during laser or pigmentation treatment?
Absolutely — it's the single most important aftercare step. Unprotected sun exposure can undo laser results and worsen pigmentation.
