Stretch Marks Treatment in Thalassery
Stretch marks are scars in the dermis, torn by rapid growth, pregnancy or weight change, and no cream reaches them. What does reach them is energy delivered at the right depth: the founding clinic’s pulsed dye laser for fresh red or purple marks, and fractional CO2 or microneedling radiofrequency for the older silvery-white lines. The goal is honest, too: marks fade and flatten by a third to a half, they do not vanish. The body contouring guide covers the post-pregnancy programme they often sit within.

Red Marks and White Marks Need Different Tools
A new stretch mark is red or purple because the torn dermis is still inflamed and full of small blood vessels. This is the window in which treatment works best, and the pulsed dye laser, which the Thalassery flagship alone in the network carries, targets exactly those vessels. Three to five sessions, a month apart, calm the colour and shrink the width before the mark settles into scar tissue.
Older marks are pale, slightly sunken and shiny because the collagen beneath has thinned and the pigment cells have gone. Here the aim is to rebuild: fractional CO2 laser and microneedling radiofrequency create thousands of microscopic columns of controlled injury that the skin repairs with new collagen, narrowing and smoothing the lines over four to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart.
On Kerala skin the risk with any resurfacing is darkening of the treated strip, so the founding clinic tests a small patch first, uses conservative density, and times sessions away from strong sun exposure. Post-pregnancy marks on the abdomen are treated after delivery and breastfeeding; marks on the thighs, hips, arms and breasts from adolescent growth or gym bulking respond the same way.
Expect improvement, not erasure. A fair result is marks that are 30 to 60 percent fainter and narrower, visibly less noticeable in daylight and in photographs. Dr. C.P. Thajudheen reviews each plan, and if a mark is unlikely to respond you will be told so at the consultation rather than after a course.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions — Stretch Marks Treatment in Thalassery
What does stretch marks treatment cost in Thalassery?
It depends on the area, whether the marks are red or white, and the number of sessions. The dermatologist examines the marks, recommends a device and a session count, and gives the full cost at the consultation.
Can stretch marks be removed completely?
No, and no clinic can honestly promise that. They are scars in the dermis. Treatment makes them fainter, narrower and flatter, typically 30 to 60 percent less visible, which most patients find changes how they feel in daylight and photographs.
When is the best time to treat stretch marks?
While they are still red or purple. The pulsed dye laser works on the blood vessels in fresh marks and gives the biggest change. White marks still improve with fractional CO2 and microneedling RF, but more slowly.
Can I treat marks after pregnancy?
Yes, once you have delivered and finished breastfeeding. Abdominal marks are among the most common we treat; the programme can be combined with the clinic’s body contouring and skin tightening options.
Is it safe on dark skin?
Yes with a patch test, conservative density and sun avoidance between sessions, which is how the founding clinic runs every resurfacing course. The main risk on brown skin is temporary darkening of the treated strip, and the protocol is built to prevent it.
