Microneedling radiofrequency places heat at a chosen depth in the dermis through insulated needles, leaving the epidermis almost untouched. The controlled injury triggers months of collagen remodelling, which is what lifts rolling and boxcar scars, tightens pores, narrows stretch marks and firms a slackening jawline. On Fitzpatrick IV to VI skin it is the safest of the resurfacing family, because the surface is not heated.

A session takes an hour including numbing cream and leaves one to three days of redness and swelling with fine dry dots for a week.
