Every plan starts with a hair analysis. The scalp is examined with a digital trichoscope to measure the proportion of thin, miniaturising hairs, look for the exclamation-mark hairs of alopecia areata and the scaling of a scalp condition, and photograph fixed areas for comparison later. Together with a pull test and a careful history of illness, childbirth, diet, medicines and family pattern, this tells the doctor which kind of hair loss is in front of them.
Blood tests follow when indicated: iron stores, thyroid, vitamin D and B12, and hormonal tests for women with signs of PCOS. Shedding after an illness or delivery is explained and supported until it settles; deficiencies are corrected; pattern hair loss is started on a prescription plan, because no clinic procedure holds hair in the long run without it.
The procedure menu is the widest in the network. PRP and GFC courses of four to six monthly sessions, hair-growth mesotherapy delivering nutrients and growth factors into the scalp, and LLLT and Biolight light-therapy sessions are combined according to the stage.
