How is this procedure done?

This procedure is done by inserting a natural-looking pigment into your lips using small needles. This is done in multiple layers to help create an even tone. The process may take 1-3 hours.

Early healing stage may last for 10-14 days and the lips will fully heal in 4 weeks.

Are there any side effects?

You may expect minor side effects are redness, swelling & pain. These will decrease once the lips get healed.

How to take care of the treated area after microblading?

  • Gently wash with soap and water twice daily from the next day onwards.
  • Avoid frequent face wash and also avoid excess oil build-up.
  • Apply anti-inflammatory and antibiotic cream for 3-5 days.
  • Avoid skin from excess sun exposure.

Is the procedure painful?

No, the procedure is done by an experienced person under local anaesthetic cream. But minimal discomfort can occur after the procedure.

What will the treated area look like after microblading?

  • Skin will look red and swollen immediately after the procedure, which lasts for a day.
  • Then the skin will look dark, which will peel off within 7-10 days. At this stage, the colour may look faded, but it will be revealed by the end of the first month.
